    Hi folks,

I hope you can help me… I have the above American style fridge freezer, and whilst the fridge side appears to be refrigerating the freezer side isn’t freezing.

I take it that this is unusual, as the vast majority of problems I see online are usually that the fridge side isn’t getting cold.

Anyway, a bit of background. Bought second hand. It sat for around 16 hours before I turned it on. When I did turn it on, the display seemed to show an error, but due to how the LCD display is, I can’t quite make it out (if i can post videos here I will upload it). I read on the back about how to press the Power Freeze and the Lighting button for 8 seconds, which I did and that seemed to take it out of the error screen. It then displayed the current temperatures as 17 (freezer) and 12 (fridge).

I have left it for a good 10 hours now, and whilst the fridge side is down a 3 degrees, I’m having trouble with the freezer side (to the point I have pointed a camera at it so I can keep an eye on it – I’m not living there at the minute, so I’m viewing remotely). The freezer dropped to 10 degrees (not -10), however has climbed back up to 17 (though has dropped back to 15 over the last 40 minutes).

Does anyone have any experience of this, or have any suggestions of what the issue may be? Hopefully straightforward and really cheap if possible

    Thanks in advance,

    Gareth

I can’t seem to edit my post, or upload the images or video, so here is a Google Drive link (hope this is ok?)

So, I have kept an eye on the temps, and they do seem to drop from 17deg C down to 10deg C, then back up to 17deg C over a few hours, and repeat…

Hi, just wondering if you ever found a resolution to your issue, as I am experiencing the same issue?
