Morning chaps
Fitted new step valve, caved out and re-gassed. Now not getting cooling to fridge or freezer where as before it was just the fridge that was warm. I’m thinking blockage but would like some input please.
Has any one experienced this and did you come up with a fix? Thanks in advance

hi steve,
i dont have access to the samsung site now but im sure that the appliance could be put into forced operation load tests to check the diverter valve, maybe someone with access to he site can forward this to you, good luck.
Bob.

Top left and middle right button for 8 secs. Beep beep and blank display. Middle right will cycle through functions. Cooling and defrost. Forced operation must be used when gassing I believe as only freezer circuit is open on initial power up. Unless forced otherwise

Hi Bryan
Thanks for the info, could you explain what you mean by the freezer circuit only open on start up?
And forced start required.
Does that mean that customers have to do a forced start when first turned on?

Hi Steve
It means the valve only opens on the freezer side till a temperature is reached and you need to force the fridge side to run when fitting a compressor and re-gassing.

So will the fridge eventually kick in once the freezer has reached temp?

Hi Bryan
The system is freshly charged with R600a. What would you suggest? Am calling to have another look tomorrow morning.
