    Hi All
A strange couple of events that seem unrelated…
Western Power damaged a cable under the road and we had an unplanned electricity outage earlier today. It took them 15 mins to fix. No RCD’s tripped, no issues, except…
When the power came back on we lost the display on our Samaung F/Freezer.
Only one LCD segment flashing. Found the error code info on-line and it’s reporting a Fridge defrost sensor > sensor error detected > open circuit or shorted.
I guess I need a new sensor, but strange that it coincided with the outage.
Can anyone help me find the correct part number, a supplier, and some instructions on how to swap it over.
Or maybe it just needs to reset?

Da32-00006u used to be part number. Press and hold top left and middle right buttons to bypass and get up and running. The sensor does need replacing though.

Also the fault would only display in event of engineer intervention or a power cut. Nothing to do with power outage.
