    Samsung RSH1DTMH FF SN. 891542BPC0048521
    I don’t normally get involved in these but one of my neighbors has asked me to help. He says that when he opened the freezer door there was a flash and now the unit is completely dead. I haven’t looked at it yet and was hoping that someone could give me an idea what might have caused this and any further information/wiring diagram would be appreciated.

    On the top of the fridge, there is a service panel with couple of pcbs. the small square one has a mains fuse on it , which can blow if the internal fridge or freezer bulb blows…. most likely this. later units have the fuse integrated within main board, and not as likely to blow just for a bulb.
