Samsung RSH1DTMH FF Back Panel Burnt.

Has anyone seen this?

I’ve one of these which has a hole burnt in the back panel behind the evaperator/defrost heater.

The heater tests fine and the diagnostics shows no faults. The evap was doing the usual act of icing up.
But when I pulled it apart to look at it i found a small crack above the evap and I followed it down and there is a 3″ hole burnt in the back panel behind the bottom of the evap and through some of the insulation.

New to me, I can only assume its the heater but it show no damage.
