Samsung RSH1DTMH – fridge temperature won’t set

Hi,
A client has contacted me about their Samsung RSH1DTMH side by side fridge freezer.
The freezer section is absolutely fine.
However; the temperature in the fridge section won’t chill down – it’s always too warm.

When the temperature is set to 4 deg C using the control panel, the display shows 4 for a few seconds and then reverts back to a higher temperature, like 11 deg C for example.

They have tried unplugging the fridge freezer for a few minute then plugging it back in – still the same problem.

Any ideas please?

will probaly need new back cover , defo sensor and possible defo element ..common fault – would advise to call samsung 1st they may cover it under warranty ..

Hi,
When you say “will probaly need new back cover”, are you referring to the cover at the back of the f/f or the back cover inside the refrigerator compartment?

Sorry if that sounds.. erm.. dumb!
