    Hi
    My Samsung RSH5STPN American style Fridge / Freezer has suddenly developed a fault, it switches on OK ( compressor runs and condenser fan) once it reaches the correct temperature in both the freezer and fridge the compressor switches off but does not come back on. I have unplugged the unit but it still does not start up again until several hours later then follows the same cycle as above. Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks for your reply. I have already defrosted the system for 36 hours, something I read on another question posted but no joy, any further suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
