Hi , got one of these with red light flashing on inverter board but compresser not starting. Only have about 70 volts to the three wires off inverter board to compresser. Has anyone had problems with these?

You need to count the flashes as this gives the fault code.

If the compressor itself is faulty it should be covered by Samsung’s 10 year warranty

But there will be a heavy labour / sundries charge as that isn’t covered by the warranty on the compressor.

Thanks for reply. It has three flashes. I bought a repair manual online and it doesn’t mention this so I have no idea what three flashes means. Thanks in advance.

Fault = Position Sensing Error for Three flashes.

    1. Check Compressor wire connections u,v,w.

    2. Check PBA bottom side soldering.

    3. Check for compressor fault.

As you have low voltage it sounds like poor soldering joints on the inverter PBA.

The trouble with inverter compressors there is more to go wrong as it not just 240v as standard but the voltage veries according to demand. More to go wrong.

But a good money maker for Samsung.
