    My 2 year old Samsung side by side american fridge is not cooling down. It seems to be stuck on 12C. It worked fine until a couple of days ago. The freezer part is working Ok. I tried turning it off for a couple of hours, hoovering the back, leaving it away from the wall but it makes no difference! The floor feels warm near the bottom grill at the front.

    did you start to hear a tapping noise as if a fan had been catching ?

    It made a sort of rattling/shaking noise sometimes for a few days before it stopped cooling down.
