Samsung – side by side fridge SRS536NP fridge not cooling

Im pretty sure our model no is SRS536NP but also says Model code RS20NASL1/xsa on the side. It’s an Australian Model.

Anyway, the problem is the fridge is not getting cold. We’ve defrosted the freezer twice now in the last 6 weeks as taking the internal freezer panal off revealed that the whole of the freezer was frozen solid. Defrosting resolves the issue for about 3 weeks. I can only assume that it’s frozen solid once more as the fridge is warming up again. Can anyone give me any advice as to what might be wrong – why is the freezer freezing solid so quickly? The door seals are intact and the unit is only 3 years old.

Hi

Change the defrost sensor first and check the thermal fuse,The fault will lie within the defrost cycle.

Any idea where I can get those spares from asap in Australia or shipped from UK? We have a newborn bub just arrived fridge is driving us insane!!
