Samsung side by side – RS21DCNS – Fridge and freezer warmer

Called out to the above fridge freezer, customer said fridge was getting warmand freezer not cold enough.
I took the lower rear cover of and inspected fan and condenser grill, the fan seamed fine but the grill did have a bit of dust built up on it.
The unit is free years old.
Do these models suffer easily with dusted up condenser efecting the performance?

Any advice greatfully received.

Fridge and freezer have evaps in them and are both frost free, both can be horrendously problematic with over frosting/icing up.

The defrost heater is circa 485 ohms, watch out for those up in the 6K area. heater is not a spare part, you have to get the evap assy to get one.

There are also a couple of sensors and a toc in the equation, if you do not have access to technical help, your going to struggle.

Unless you investigate the evaps you won’t be able to eliminate them.
