Samsung SR-L3216B Fridge not working, freezer OK

I come here in the hope that the folks on this site have more intelligence than Samsung!! (won’t be difficult!!)
I have this fridge freezer and the fridge has stopped working. On removing the front cover to access the pcb, I find that the green led on the board is flashing twice quickly then pausing then flashing etc. Does anyone have any ideas what fault condition this represents (as Samsung don’t seem to know, or won’t say?)

Hi

The fault is within the defrost system,The appliance hasnt been able to complete a full defrost within 80 min’s.

The freezer will fail shortly if not repaired.

What does the repair entail, if it’s an electronic repair, I don’t mind doing it as I’m an electronic engineer by trade!..However, if it’s anything to do with the gas side….forget it!! lol
One further question (if you don’t mind) Why will the freezer side fail??

Ok saga continues…reset unit left it 90 mins…freezer came back on but no fridge, can hear fan going but no cold air coming into fridge.
The fridge sensor has 4 wires, 2 grey reading approk 1k fixed and 2 white, variable with temp but approx 10.8k at room temp….anyone know if these readings are correct

Hi

It’s either the thermal overload or defrost heater.both dont need regas.
