Hello to all.
My Samsung SR L-36/39 (digital display) fridge/freezer keeps beeping. The indicator on show is F (which stands for freezer temperature according to the manual) and the freezer temperature display keeps scrolling around from -17 to -25 degrees and back.
I have taken the circuit board out and tried to clean the relevant switch (there are six different functions at the top) to remove any lichen type hairs – I tried to scrape underneath a bit with a thin wire, but didn’t unsolder and then resolder that switch (I don’t know how or have the equipment). But the problem remains. Does anyone have any advice, please….our little one (5) sleeps above the kitchen and it keeps him awake at nights..

Hi
Get a 1p and a tube of superglue.
Stand on a stool and look at the top of the fridge door and you will see a line where the light switch hits the top of the door.
Put some superglue onto the 1p and glue it onto the centre of that line towards the front where it finishes,Leave for 5 minutes and then close the door.
That should cure your problem.
