    Hi, my appliance has stopped working, it is not cooling either the fridge or freezer. The lights and panel work so there is power, I can hear a click in the electrics panel, the compressor is hot but not running and the fan isn’t running either, what is the process of fault finding? Thanks.

    I hate to say it but that sounds like the compressor is toast. 🙁

    Thanks, closer inspection reveals everything is clicking to start(other than the fan not working), the compressor makes a hum for a short time then the overload trips out. I believe that is buggered compressor?
