    Hello
I’m really hoping someone out there can help me. I bought the Samsung SR-S2028CVW frisge freezer back in 2003 and took an extended warranty which ran out in Feb this year! – Typical!
The freezer is working great, no problems but the fridge seems to be playing up. The digital display shows the temperature fluctuating between -1 and 7 degrees, changing every few seconds, accompanied by an annoying beep. I really can’t afford to get an engineer out, especially before christmas. I phoned Sanmsung and they just said they couldn’t help. Does anyone have any idea why its doing this and how I can fix it. Please answer in simple terms – I’m not very technically minded!!!
    Thanks in advance.

its basically the same as the rs21 and will prob have the same problems as they have, as a short term fix you could try defrosting it for 24 hours with the doors open. but i would say it will need an engineer at some stage to test the components in the fridge, thermal fuse, sensor, defrost heater and evaporator cover all of which it could need, but let us know how it goes after defrost.
