Samsung SR-S2029CSS water dispenser not working

My 10 year old SAMSUNG SR-S2029CSS water dispenser has stopped working and the Fridge door open indicator randomly bleeps when the door is closed, with the Fridge Temperature indicator going from 7 down to -1.
It started happening after the freezer door was left open inadvertently over night and the freezer had started to de-frost. The Freezer was not defrosted completely, the door was just re-closed and the freezer allowed to freeze again.
I’ve tried using a hair dryer on the inside of the freezer door for about half an hour to see if the pipes to the water dispenser were frozen, and disconnected the filter, but it still will not dispense water. The Ice maker still works as normal.
I would be grateful if anyone has had a similar problem could let me know how they fixed it, or any other ideas of a simple fix?

The pre cooling tank in the fridge behind the salad boxes will be frozen.

It is also most likely the fridge is frozen behind the rear panel.

The best option for you is to get someone to look after your food and turn off the fridge freezer leaving the doors open for 48 hours to allow it to fully defrost.

Thanks for your response…i was planning to fully defrost it before i get someone to look at it just in case it fixes it

When you turn it back on dispense some water and check inside of the fridge to check the water tank is not leaking, as sometimes they can split when they freeze.

I’ve now defrosted my Fridge for over 48 hours and the water dispenser is now working and no leaks anywhere…the only problem is still the random bleeping from the door open indicator?
Any ideas

It may be a door switch playing up.
