    Samsung SRS2028CVW with display on freezer side fluctuating went down to -18 then warms up now displaying -2 only been on for 24 hours. The evaporator was iced up at the top just below fan, defrosted it left it on test told customer to call back let me know how it was.

    Would this be the sensor fault and thermal fuse fault.

    Tried the test program but did not seem to go into test mode.

    Hi Steven

    The probable cause would be the defrost sensor,there would be no reason that it wouldnt go into the test / forced run if this was carried out correctly.
