Samsung SRS2028 USA style Fridge Freezer

We have a Samsung SRS2028 american style fridge freezer with integral icecube maker.

All the freezer and ice cube maker appears to be working ok but the fridge keeps beeping (normally only heared if fridge door left open too long) and the temperature display cycles from 7 degrees to minus 1 degrees.

The fridge appears to be cold but we are now not sure just what temperature the fridge is trying to maintain. – Is it the termostat that gone wrong? Also the beeping is driving me mad.

Any ideas or help much appreciated.

Hi

Its sounds like the door switch on the fridge side has failed,There is no real way other than replacing it to test as if metered it will show up as working correctly.

This will cause the cooling fgan to operate incorrectly giving the erratic tempratures.

i have got the same problem with my SRS2028. the fridge and freezer seem to be both working fine it just cycles through the same +7 to -1 temperature on the display and bleeps. this happens at irregular times, beeps two or three times during which the display shows different temperatures then goes back to normal working.

like chrislm im thinking its the fridge sensor thats at fault.

i realise its 4 years on but did you get a result? or can anyone else help please.
