Samsung – SRS536NP fridge not cooling freezer ok

I’ve had a read through of most of the samsung fridge info however as our model is Australian we don’t have a diagnostic display like other models mentioned.

I’m just wondering if anyone can give me a few hints for things to look for to try and establish what might be at fault before we get an engineer in. Baby No 2 is due anyday and we could really do without spending a fortune if it can be helped!

The fridge has stopped making much noise, but it’s a tad cool to the touch so I’m thinking that the fan may be at fault, is there anything else I could try to spring it back into action before calling out the eng?

Any advice would be most welcome,

Is the freezer okay?

I’m not familiar with the SRS (or many Samsung’s really), R600A is the man for that. 😉

we’ve just taken the back of the freezer to bits and have discovered lots of ice between the cooling bits. It’s being hairdried as I type, fingers crossed all will spring into action soon!

the model number you have given isnt correct,Is your appliance a side by side or a standard fridge freezer?
