Hi There. I posted this on the general forum a couple of days ago and did not realise there is a forum for those South of the Equator – so hence the post here.
I have a 2.5 year old Samsung side by side F/F. In New Zealand model is SRS541HPT which I think is the RS20BRPS5 model in the UK – please correct me if I am wrong.
Freezer works perfectly. Issue is with fridge as follows:
1 – Annoying beeping sound every minute for 10 beeps – I think this has something to do with the door alarm?
2 – Light does not turn off – I think light switch is faulty. I did jury rig the switch from the freezer side, which does work, and this did not work on the fridge side either? Does this switch have anything to do with door alarm?
3 – Digital temperature guage shows fridge at 22 deg C, even though actual temperature is approximately 2 deg C. The first number 2 is brighter than the second number 2?Any help would be appreciated. Many thanks, Todd
