Hi, looking for some advice regarding my Samsung Twin Cooling fridge freezer. It powers up fine, and the freezer section seems to be working correctly. However the fridge section takes a LONG time to get down to temperature and then whenever an new item is put into the fridge it really struggles to cool it down, resulting it the fridge temp being too high for long periods.

Any ideas for what could be the problem? is there some kind of ‘power booster’ which is failing?

    Thanks in advance

    Henry

have you tried defrosting it ?

a lot of modern selt defrosting units use cold air from the freezer to cool the fridge. if there is ice build up it blocks the ducts and reduces or stop the air flow

switch off, door open ,2 days

you will need to run the freezer down or have a neighbour store you food while your doing it

Hi, thanks for the reply. The fridge freezer was turned off for a long period (weeks), and it didn’t solve the problem unfortunately
