    Hi,

Now i’ll be the first to admit, I’m no expert on Samsung, I still don;t see too many. I’ve been out to a customer with this Samsung washing machine. Bit of a long story but the customer says that it originally came up with a pump blockage fault code. He pulled the machine out and broke the fill hose at the back, water everywhere. He replaced the hose and took a coin out of the filter.
Now all that happens is, you can select the program. Close the door, it beeps when the push button is pressed by the door but the door never locks in. After a few seconds of non locking, it makes another noise but never faults, just sits there.
I do suspect it could be the door lock and just wish I had one to try but I would have thought there would be a fault code for a lock fault. Also I dont know why it would suddenly happen when all it originally was, was a pump blocked.
Has anybody come across a door lock fault on this new Samsung machine. Does it come up with a fault code, or does it just sit there doing nothing.

    Any help is always appreciated

its lessthan 3 years old and its in a warm new house. Theres no signs of water damage inside, that’s the strange thing. I think I’m going to have to hand this one on unfortunately.

No its not the child lock. I did check that and it engages and disengages it when the 2 buttons are pressed.
