Hi All
My Samsung washer dryer wd0804w8e/xeu water inlet hose faulty and dripping water in the middle of the aquastop valve, I am trying to buy another but am struggling to find one, I can find one for an Electrolux which has the same aquastop valve 40010188 epp-ws and I have seen a universal one WPRO but is the connection to the washer dryer the same size or do I have to wait for the spares shop to identify and source a spare as they have none in stock and estimate 2-4 weeks to supply but if the same size I can install this

Upset with Samsung support as they will not replace under warranty as they say it a comsumerable item is that right ?

this is an external water limiting device. it has no connection with the workings of the machine apart from If the inlet valve sticks open it will limit the amount of water entering the machine to stop flood

if you replace it with a standard fill hose, you run the very remote chance of a flood, but the machine should work normally

there are thousands if not hundred of thousands of machine working out there without this device
