I attended this washer this afternoon, it was reconditioned some years ago by someone else.
This machine flashed up 5E error code which indicates drainage issue. I had a look at the hoses, all clear but the pump seems to lack in power to push the water out. It drains ok if you do it manually.
The price for the pump is at silly price and there’s no justification @£33 for it particularly as an Askoll pump. I had a look at the universal type as shown on Connections 1957871CO and it’s rated at 40w but the original is rated at 30w.
I don’t know if this is the same size or will the universal pump will fit on to it? Would it be an issue to install higher powered pump even though it’s 10 watt difference?
Do you know of a better cheaper alternative?
