Hi all, first post here so hope it is in the right section.
Have a Samsung WW7 installed on my boat and find on some settings such as the 15/30 minute wash all is fine but on other longer wash cycles I get the 4C (water is not supplied) code at the start of the cycle.
The water supply comes from a pump and a pressure vessel but I cant understand why all is fine on one setting but not others. Water tanks are filled to the brim so plenty of water there.

does the water seem to flow in at the same rate on each programme ?

I would have to try again to be sure however I think no water entered the machine at all as I dont recall the clothes getting wet.

In case of any confusion, I meant the water holding tanks on the boat are full.

I realise the system you have

a lot of machines use more than one vale to input the water. its possible in a dual or triple valve system for on of them to go faulty and be slower than it should be

you would need to check to see if any one programme or any point in the programme where the fault occurs

Ah, ok I will check different programmes and take note. Hope it isn`t a valve gone faulty as whilst I did buy the thing a couple of years ago I have only just started using it plus I would expect Samsung to decline a warranty seeing that it is on a boat.

on some machines there are adjustments you can make for lower pressure water that gives the machine a little longer to fill. you would have to check if it can be done on Samsung

Can also be a blockage in the right angled breather pipe from the dispenser to the tank. The blockage is usually at the tank end. What happens is the i/let valve is triggered the machine begins to fill, the air within the machine cannot escape being non displaced by the water, the pressure senser switch gets triggered way before it should by, if you like, a vaccum affect and switches the water off very low level than it should be. The blockage is a cardboard thin film across the breather across its tank nozzle. On quick wash type prgrammes the water level is low. Could be a load of kriptonite in your case but worth a look.
