Samsung WF80F5E2W4XEU Washing Machine Drum Action

Good morning all,

I’m trying to diagnose a fault on the above w/m.

Essentially, there is no drum action and I’m struggling to put my finger on the cause.

The motor carbon brushes are fine, and I get Ohms reading on most of the nine motor terminals, (which I realise isn’t a conclusive motor test) and wonder if someone has a wiring diagram so I can check the motor fully?

Having checked the motor multi plug, and re-fitted it, the machine decided to spin on a spin cycle for around five minutes, before resorting to the start of the twelve minute cycle, and no spin.

A wiring diagram would be very useful.

p.s. it would great if I knew what values should be expected between each motor terminal…

pps I gather there is a diagnostic mode, and wonder what the sequence is for this model and whether it will help?

I’ve got one with the same problem, I’m guessing it’s the pcb, not sure whether to risk ordering one.

I have had a couple with broken wires in the [lug going to the motor normally give them a pull and they break
