    Good afternoon all,

Wondering if anyone could let me know if/how to conclusively test the above inverter motor?

When washing/agitating, the motor hesitates/judders slightly prior to rotating, which is particularly evident when pausing to change direction.

I’m not sure if the main board or the motor is causing the above.

The small multi-plug to the motor appears fine, and there isn’t a separate motor board.

Hello Jontymox, I’m having the same with one that has a seperate motor pcb.

Funny thing is, upon my visit. The machine acted perfectly, wash and spin rotation completely normal.

    5 minutes after i left….. juddering.

So, if i had to guess, I’d say component failing on module, especially considering the motor has 10 year manufacturer warranty.

Also searching for old threads which might help.

A slight judder sounds like normal operation to me. The electronics has to ‘set up’ the motor to ensure the correct direction of rotation, before applying 3-phase power. A more pronounced judder once it has started rotation sounds like a board fault.

    Thanks for your info’ Graham,

Yes, the judder/hesitation is more pronounced, and distinctly “judders” prior to rotating the drum.

Have ordered a new board, which hopefully is causing the fault.

Does anyone know how to/if the age of the machine can be ascertained by the model & serial numbers, as customer would like to know?

    Regards,

    jonty
