ParticipantI have 2 samsung wm’s with the same fault
1 x J1453s and 1 x P1453.
Both will not spin but just get to 9 mins on display then go back to 10 mins and then alternate between 10 and 9 mins – pumping out o.k. -motor gets to distribution speed – brushes appear o.k. – about an inch left – heater meggers o.k. – any ideas guys?

Normally means the machine thinks it hasn’t emptied. Have you checked the pressure pot and switch?

Hi Franz have you managed to solve these? i have the same problem on a B1445sgsx which i have replaced the pcb, checked for blockages in pressure chamber and made sure there is a good load in there. Is the load sensor part of the pcb or is it separate?
Thanks Peter :lesson:January 29, 2010 at 8:11 am #308710franz

Are you running tub empty or with load, could be out of balance detection.
If empty still no spin I’d try a motor.

Thanks for getting back to me guys 🙂 i ran it without a load and it went into spin fine but when i ran it with a normal load it kept trying to balance it, does anyone know how the load sensors work on these? sorry to hijack your thread Franz

Could be one of those stretchy belt gone a bit loose as any jerky rotation on the distribute would stop it spinning with a load. Servis suffered greatly with this problem. Check the tension.
