Samsung ww70k5413ux very noisy

Hi. Got a new Samsung washing machine on weds, having never had one before was expecting great things however, it is extremely noisy. I don’t know what it is but it sounds like the pump is trying to empty all the time.. It’s intermittent but seems to be when the eco wash kicks in.. Have listened to the noise on a video on you tube and its exactly the same, that says the ecobubble motor is broke, surely not, in a brand new £600 washer? I’m just wondering if anybody else out there has this washer and is it noisy to the point of really loud?

Too new to find much about this model. A noisy circulating pump?

Maybe it’s the brand because my sister-in-laws Samsung is really noisy, abeit it’s not a recent model.

Whereas my Miele is silent, apart from the spin mode. All you can hear is the faint noise of water swishing around in wash mode. When I first got it I was checking reguarly to see if it was actually running because I couldn’t hear anything!! I’ve no idea how they’ve produced a silent motor!!

You can pick up an entry Miele model for £600+. I’ve just got a basic model as wasn’t prepared to spend £1,000+ on Miele’s expensive models. Food for thought next time round.

A 3 phase motor of any kind makes very little noise as there is no brush gear.
It’s not rocket science, just better quality motor bearings and a motor mounted inside a more robust cabinet with a well damped drum suspension.

Even the much cheaper machines with 3 phase motors make very little noise when washing TBH.

Thanks for the reply’s, an engineer came out to the machine which was just a week old then. He said that, that is the noise the pump makes, personally I thought he was talking a load of rubbish and that he just fobbed my brother off.. sadly without being able to listen to the same model in someone’s house we had nothing to go on.. It’s made even worse as my brothers house is open plan living. Obviously it has been used since an the noise is frankly unbelievable.. Put me right off buying one.. Certainly not worth the money they’re selling for..
