Samsungs any good now (eg RL41ECPS/RL44ECPS)

Having done my research and bought a Leihberr which then failed (or at least didn’t keep low enough temperature) I’m on the look out for a replacement.

I notice in the latest ‘Which’ report that the Samsungs come 1st and 3rd in their recommended best buy.

I also am mindful of the recent Samsung faults to do with (alleged) freezing fans, potential electrical issues (for which I think they are proactively changing parts in some units?)

Can anyone advise on whether the RL41ECPS may be included in these (alleged) faults, and whether it is any good?

Samsung RL41ECPS is the current model, there are no plans by Samsung to supercede this model in the near future.

The RL44ECPS was discontinued a while ago.

Thats weird – I can’t see the RL41ECPS for sale anywhere – yet there’s loads of the RL44ECPS.

Is the RL41ECPS very new?

Not sure how long that one has been around, a call to Samsung on 0845- 7267864 will probably get you an answer.
