Help with two things if possible. First, Sarena washer dryer, belt has broken and torn through the thermostat tube. IMET 90c type TR29331, is the merloni C00105043 the same thing, if not where can i get a one.

Second thing. Hotpoint dish washer, DF22 (10167598) fairly old. Water has seeped through stat. grommett corroding connector which has come off. To test i joined the two wires together and heater then works. The bit that puzzled me was just close to this is a screwed in stat or toc which is open circuit . Is this actually normaly open. Thanks in advance Brian.

The dishwasher 65° stat is normally OC. That is the wash temp control stat. closes at around 65° to allow timer to advance. The other stat is an 85° NC stat which is the overheat safety stat.
