scandinova fridge problem

ive got a 5 year old fridge freezer frost free and auto deftrost fridge. the frige has stopped working but if i turn it off then on it starts to work again. it cools to the selected setting ,turns off as it should but never comes back on and the fridge warms up!

any idea

The fridge thermostat has failed by the sound of it, pretty straightforward repair and not too costly.

Check repairs@ below for an engineer near you 🙂

Hi

I wish you all the best of luck – our 2 year old Scandinova fridge stopped working on Christmas Eve and, as we live in a remote area, the cost of an engineer coming out to fix it was more than the cost of a new one. Hubby’s an electrician but couldn’t fix it, even though we eventually managed to get a new thermostat. It broke my heart (and the bank balance) but we just took it to the dump last week. 😥
