    HI,

    Hope you can advise?

I have a Scandinova Larder Fridge LFA6-PP/W. Intermittently the fridge will freeze up to -10oC freezing everything inside (a standalone refridgeration thermometer confirms these temps). I also regularly get mold spores inside which indicates to me that it may also be overheating at some point?

We’ve only just had an engineer out for our dishwasher and can’t really afford another call-out – Any thoughts?

Also – if we do have to call out – would it be more cost effective to repair or replace?

Very probably the thermostat by the sound of it.

A pretty straightforward repair, at a stab (as labour rates vary) around £50-£70 should cover it.

Is the repair section of the site down? I used it two weeks ago to find an engineer but it says ‘module down’.

It seems fine here, it may have been for a short period, we’ve been making some changes to it over the weekend …
