I have the above freezer and it has stopped freezing. The mains light is still working but the red warning light and audible buzzer are going off, no matter what setting it is on it is not getting cold at all. I had the door reset 2 months ago – don’t know if this has anything to do with it?…. any thoughts on my next move?

Hi, have just seen the other posts from people with the same problem that when the freezer defrosts it won’t restart and that it’s a common PCB problem. Do I have to get a new PCB or are there ways of kick starting the current one?

    Hi,

After redaing some other posts I managed to fix the pcb in my Freezer. It was doing the same thing, Temperature dropping, red light on, bleeping. Press fast freeze and it would refreeze but back to same problem after a day or so.

In my case it turned out to be a faulty relay on the PCB. I ordered a replacement from RS. However the minimum order was 5 so i have 4 left.

If you are interested in getting one from me or need help fitting it give me a shout.

    Thanks for the reply bigyin.
How much are you asking for one?, how quick could we get it? and what is your fitting advice? i’m thinking our handyman could do it following the instructions from the other posts.
I see UK whitegoods sell them for £51.69

Well its just the relay part which is soldered to the pcb that I have. Cost is £6 posted. Its very easy to solder in place. Getting the old one of is more tricky but a simple job to anyone who does solder work.

    I can take paypal
