    hi all been here today complaint of no cooling in fridge servis made f/frzr fan motor o/c changed and refit but did not run ,when you put meter into tags and shut door to activate reed switch there is only 76volts getting to fan motor.what could cause this has anyone got a wiring diagram? or had this fault all help appreciated.

    Fan motor reads oc when i went to one.But it works. odd

    this fan was defo not running at all so changed but only 76 volts any ideas?

    Try bypassing the reed switch in the freezer as this is most most likely the fault.
    Make sure you have the unit unpluged from the mains as wires stay live or you can open the fridge door as this cuts of the power to the reed switch.
    If this is the problem you can leave it bypassed until you can order and obtain a replacement.

    ALSO CHECK THE MAGNET ON TOP OF THE FRIDGE DOOR IS STILL FITTED AS CUSTOMERS SOMETIMES REMOVE IT.
