Schreiber APP6302

Hi,

My Schreiber APP6302 integrated fridge isn’t working very well. While it appears to be chilled, nothing lasts fir more than a day or two. Even when the fridge is turned up.

Water also build up at the bottom of the fridge on a weekly basis and needs to be drained regularly. The back of the fridge also reglarly gets iced up. I have a feeling it may be something to do with either the thermostat of auto defrost.

Have you any idea what it actually may be and what I may need to fix it (if it is fixable?)

Is the door closing properly?

Check for the fridge door seal.If air gets into the fridge then it ill give you all sorts of problems including ice in the fridge and not cooling properly.

Also if you put a fridge thermometer in to see exactly what temp is it running at?

Clear the drain hole first at the back of the fridge (inside) where the water runs down the back wall to. Then see what happens.

there is a modified thermostat that may either help the problem or not.
