    I have a 4 and a half year old integrated fridge (Schreiber APP6302) that no longer cools. It was working before going away on holiday for 2 weeks but on returning, when switched back on, only the light appears to be working. There is no noise coming from the fridge indicating that there is no fan or compressor running. Is this a simple enough self repair or is it worth looking for a new fridge?

    would say you need a new thermostat, yes, an easy job

    I had the same problem yesterday on my APP6312SX.
    Just had the thermostat replaced and all seemed well… until 15mins after the engineers left when the fridge died! 😯

    Now not even the light comes on so I’ve checked the fuse in the plug but it’s fine.

    Any ideas what could have caused this?
    Would fitting the wrong thermostat blow anything? 😥

    Edited to add…
    Curiouser & curiouser… just tried plugging it in again and the fridge ran for ~15mins before shutting down completely, lights off etc. 😕 Any thoughts?
