    Hi, Have a schreiber/diplomat built in freezer model APP6403 keeps defrosting by itself, read on the forum that it is the eletronic thermostat
    Part has just arrived 😀 from ukwhite goods ( what a great service ) now need to know how to fit it, is it under the bottom of the freezer ?? at the rear ?? if under the freezer can i turn it on it’s side to get better acess ??

    Unplug appliance, remove from cabinet about 10 inches lift of inspection panel at front centre. Now withdraw front knob assembly and then change over electronic module noting wiring. refit is a direct reverse of above.
