I defrosted the freezer about a week ago,since switching it back on its making a knocking stroke rattling noise and the red symbol is flashing and it doesn’t seem to want to freeze up again.
can anyone help please!!!!

You need to check the fan at the front of the freezer as the plastic housing that holds the fan can sometimes come unclipped and falls apart.

Before you try to put the housing together make sure you turn of the power to the freezer.

If the fan is ok then you may have a compressor problem.
