Suspect the synchro pump (part number 1800474-S) is blocked and/or faulty, Could also be the Circulation Pump (part number 1800063)

It has been suggested that the noise could originate from the Circulation Pump, I am open to this. Any other thoughts would be welcome.

    Thanks

Not sure what you mean by ‘synchro pump’ 😕 The likeliest cause of noise will be the circulation pump.

Manuals and wiring diagrams are copyright material and are not available in PDF form, or any other legitimate source. You may be able to purchase one direct from Hotpoint at around £25.00 but I fear it would not be of much use to you in this instance.

That said, changing the circulation motor on this machine is very straightforward, just be sure to remove the mains plug and make careful note of the wiring connections. Tilt machine over onto its right hand side looking from front after you have placed a few large towels on the floor and all will be revealed.

    Motor is here. http://tinyurl.com/2scww2
