SE220 drum rotates at slow speeds but notspin

SE220 will not do a high speed spin, motor turn OK on low speed. Set to setting 7 for example, water pump pumps OK but pulses, drum rotates a few cycles, switch or relay clicks and nothing furhter happens, pump contiues to operate. It was suggested the water level switch may have been blocked, tested this but OK.

Check brushes in drive motor, otherwise suspect electronics fault.
