search function problem

When i type what ever i am looking for in the search bar and pick say trade technical .It comes up and says e.g 755 results found and then shows me how many pages there is.

Now the problem i get is sometimes i will go through a few pages say 5 but then when i click for the next page wish would be 6 , it comes up with “No topics or posts met your search criteria” but yet if i go to the search function again and type the same thing and then skip straight to page 6 i can read it ??

This happens quite a bit .Anyone have any idea ? I am using the search function correctly and cannot understand why it does it.It only happens on this forum not on any other forums that i go on.

Its a bug in the forum software, its been like that for ages. 😥
