Sebo automatic X1

    I’ve got one of these vacuums in at the moment with the brush not turning. I see from the exploded diagram on connect that there are 2 belts and a clutch. How the hell do you get into the thing without breaking it? I can usually work these things out, but this one is doing my head in! :haier:

    Hi Dave,do you mean the machine it self or the clutch??also just looked at a sebo x1.1 in the showroom and there are screw channels underneath for access.btw there are different versions of the x1,i think connect show the x1.1.

    Hi Dave,
    I just mean getting access to the base to get to the belts and clutch. I’ve taken all the obvious screws out of the baseplate and the cover is now looser but is very reluctant to come off altogether.

    Dave 4 screws and cover is off on mine in showroom
    ps i take it that you have removed the body from the base by pressing the button 😉
