Hi My 3 yr old Sebo D2 lost power and now wont start. Its out of warranty as I am in NI and we only get 2yr warranty outside of mainland UK 😥
Very limited info on web for repair of these but verified fuse etc OK. Have opened it up and notice no blue light to power switch dial. Possibilities could be rewind cable issue, pcb board or power switch fault?
Not sure how I go about checking which it is as NI SEBO agent looking 45 +vat + shipping to look at it and then labour /material cost to add and so trying to find fault myself so can then order the replacement otherwise looking at a new machine after only 3 yrs [Dyson DC05 lasted 11+yrs!]
Anyone familiar with these vacuums?

The problem your faced with is that the mainland Sebos are still under warranty,so as a repairer we have not had the chance to strip one down as yet.Being honest it’s probably something stupid that’s causing the issue as we have been selling them for some time and find them quite reliable compared to other brands.
