Sebo K1 Komfort

Hi there. We have a Sebo K1 Komfort which is completely dead.

I suspect the switch or the cable reel. The fuse in the plug is fine.

There’s no obvious way of getting it open, though. Where are the hidden screws?

Any help most gratefully received.

Indeed, just to give your local Miele engineer something to do 😉

I haven’t seen that particular machine, but the screws are usually under buttons, behind filter covers, inside the bag housing, or even under feet/wheels.

It’s not a good idea to start snap bits off your vac tho! And of course, unplug the machine first! :zap:

The fabric cushion around the machine has to come off, a bit fiddley. Remove the screws, IIRC they should all be apparent, not hidden. My guess is the cable, but it will come as cord rewind assy.
POWER OFF 1st.

Thanks guys. It was the cord – pulled taut once too often as we went around the house.

The rewind assembly is now knackered – but the hoover works again, so saved £150.
