When i looked at this fridge the led that lights up on each tempreture number you select will flash 12 times. I could hear the motor kicking in then cutting out. When i checked out the compressor it was duff. Any one know why this unit has two capacitors for the motor, one very large looking one 420-470v 4uf and one smaller 420-470v 2uf.
What does the 12 flashes mean? Although the motor is buggered it was the control board that was cutting the power to the motor when it would not start, not the motors overload protector. Going to fit new motor but not sure about module.Anyone?
Thanks

Any one know if 12 flashes is a fault code?

Fitted new compressor to this FF but as i suspected there is still a problem with either sensor or more likely control board. When you turn it on it will run for a while, sometimes 2-3 minutes or so and then cut out. If you turn it off and on again it will try to power up the compressor but cut the power to the compressor after a couple of seconds. Its as though a relay on the board or something is breaking down. Compressor i fitted is fine because ive by-pasted the control and it runs fine.
Are thes boards prone to fail?
Could it be the ntc? There is one in the fridge but i think there may be one foamed in.
Come on you Bosch/ Seimens guys, help me out here please!
