Select 600 by Diplomat cuts out at high temperatures

Hello,
as the title suggests, my oven keeps cutting out when reaching a higher temperature (above 200 degrees C).

looking online it looks like either a faulty Temperatuee Cut off switch or a thermometer issue.

is this something that sounds familiar to other people?

if there is a cooling fan and is it operating ?

Hi again Dave!

When the oven cuts out everything shuts off. The fan, the light, everything. We have to open the door and wait for it to cool down before turning it back on again.

a lot of ovens have a cooling fan in the top around the controls. pull it out and take the top off and see if it has one. If yes its likely this is not operating so unit is overheating causing the safety stat to cut out
