    hello all hope all is well. my dryer spins round but no heat ! have checked all areas, filter, tank etc and all is clear and clean.checked manual and says to clean SENSOR RIBS but nowhere does it show where these ARE? have checked the website but no joy and tried googling but no luck either. does anyone know where the sensor ribs are please ?

    i would think they mean the drum paddles

    but that wont stop it heating
    theres a heater cut out over the heater, thats more likely to be the problem

    plug out if your checking!!!

    The sensor rib is the little rectangular stainless steel grid bit in the drum just behind the filter in the front of the door aperture. – WQ

    no stil no joy have rung out to be checked as is still under warranty and dont fancy messin about. thanks fro al your help though

    sorry for resurrecting old thread but in these tumble drier there is also a sensor at the top of the drum. You have to take lid off and front fascia control panel off to get to the sensor. If there is open circuit / no resistance across the 2 spade terminals then there will be no heat. Some of these sensors have a red ‘reset’ button on them – others you just have to replace the whole sensor, shouldn’t cost too much.
