    How do I remove the sensor, I have read on here that you undo the rotor nut, but how, its a plastic nut, do I just undo it from the bottom of the machine and take off that rotor housing to get to the rotor postion sensor, or do I have to pull the whole machine to bits?

    Just undo the nut (16mm?) and wiggle the rotor away to reveal the stator assembly. Access from the side if IIRC.
