KeymasterSilly this, but as Dave, David and Sean will tell you I get a bit funny about my statistics….
For the whole of September the WTA site has had a few hits a day, some under ten page views, some about sixty at best then today… wait for it… >270!
Just wait. 😉

BlockedRe: September
Can we re-name this thread something like web stats and post the most informative stats monthly?

KeymasterAgain, why? I don’t really see the need or relevance.

It would just be good to see the hits etc, no specific reason, I check my sites stats etc monthly, Stats give us a good insite into how the site is being used, where the traffic is coming from etc?

KeymasterAde do you just sit down there bored in Wales like Sean and think of sh1t to wind me up and cause more work?
I check stats daily and, unless you know what you’re looking at they’re bugger all use to anyone unless there’s a huge headline number to boast about. If there isn’t one then the best thing you can do is bury it.

No. Far from it. I’m actually quite p1ssed off that I give my valuable time to air ideas, read posts, ask and respond to questions, all to try and ensure the WTA is succssesfull , and I get a responce like that 👿
It was just an idea…. I’m sure somebody else could do it if you are too busy… there are 7 other people here!October 21, 2007 at 3:55 pm #229126kwatt
KeymasterRe: September
Everyone’s time is valuable.
It was a tongue in cheek remark, obviously the sarcasm was lost although I expect Sean got it.
The stats can only be accessed from site admin which, to be blunt, I’m not that comfortable handing out access to since I’m not that familiar with it as yet and it’s easy to make big blunder in there. Like, wipe out the website type blunders. Lose all the data type blunders.
I’m sure you’d agree that’s not exactly a brilliant plan.
Aside from which the more admin logons you have the more susceptible to hacking you become. So it presents security issues as well.
